How to Use the NH 101 Lessons

Here are some steps to make sure you get the most out of your daily TAWG (Time Alone With God).

1. Find a quiet place.
2. Decide on a time that is good for you everyday – morning or what ever time of day that best suits your schedule.
3. Have a Bible and a pen with you.
4. Relax and forget about your cares and concerns for the next half hour - you are about to meet with the God of the universe.
5. Before you start say a prayer asking God to open your heart and mind and to teach you something new.
6. If you just “work through” the exercises like homework, you’ll be done in 5 minutes. Instead linger, ruminate, and ponder each question or verse of scripture. Then use the “Notes” section to jot down thoughts, lessons you learned, or even a prayer.
7. Close with a prayer asking God to help you to put into practice and live what you just learned. You may want to pray for your fellow group members also.
8. Return to this blog to leave comments/questions/insights about that particular day's study.

Enjoy.
